Young Adults

Join a community of young adults who are seeking to grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and experience life change together.

Navigating Life, Growing in Faith.

Young Adults at Turning Point are adults ages 25–35 in a formative season full of big decisions, new responsibilities, and meaningful transitions. Many are building careers, strengthening marriages, raising young children, and asking deeper questions about faith and purpose.

Life in your twenties and thirties comes with both joys and challenges: juggling careers, relationships, family, and personal growth. At Turning Point, you don’t have to face it alone. Our community provides support, connection, and real-life guidance as you navigate everyday life with faith at the center.

Here, you’ll find practical, Bible-based teaching and encouragement to help you follow Jesus and grow in faith—while connecting with others walking through similar experiences.

We Serve Two groups of young adults

To best serve this stage of life, we organize Young Adults into two categories within our Season 2: Young Adult Community Groups.

Married Young Adults (25–35)

These groups include couples who are dating, engaged, preparing for marriage, or already married. They provide a space to grow spiritually, strengthen relationships, and walk through life alongside other couples in a similar season.

Single Young Adults (25–35)
Thursday Nights at 7:00 PM

We meet at South Quaker
 11202 Quaker Ave, Lubbock, TX

These groups are designed for adults who are single and looking to build meaningful friendships, grow in their faith, and navigate this season of life in community with others.

ONE CHURCH, TWICE THE IMPACT

Sunday Mornings

Sundays at Turning Point are a place for the whole church to come together in worship and teaching - but it’s also a space where young adults can connect, engage, and grow. You’ll worship alongside others while hearing practical, Scripture-based teaching that speaks into real life - work, relationships, purpose, and everything in between.

South Quaker

The South Quaker location gathers at 8:30am, 10:00am, and 11:30am each Sunday. These gatherings provide multiple opportunities for young adults to worship, connect with others, and build friendships throughout the morning.

West Loop

The West Loop location will gather at 9:15am and 10:45am in a restored movie theater environment. Many college students and young adults attend here, creating a welcoming place to connect and grow in faith.

Groups

Groups create a space for young adults to build authentic friendships, ask questions, and grow in faith together. Whether you’re single or married, there’s a group for you -providing a place to share life experiences, pray for one another, and navigate the ups and downs of adulthood alongside others in the same season.
Community Groups
Community Groups meet regularly to talk about what God is doing in everyday life. People share victories, support one another through challenges, pray together, and build friendships that strengthen faith and encourage spiritual growth.
Multi-Generational Groups
Multi-generational groups intentionally bring together adults from different seasons of life. These environments allow people to learn from one another’s experiences, build meaningful friendships, and experience a fuller picture of community across generations.
Activity Groups
Activity groups gather around shared hobbies and interests. Whether through sports, projects, or social gatherings, these groups create natural opportunities to build friendships while enjoying activities people already love doing together.
Serve Groups
Serve groups focus on meeting real needs in the community while building strong relationships. These groups allow people to put faith into action, work together for a meaningful purpose, and experience the joy of helping others.

Pathways for Growth

We’ve created a simple pathway made up of classes, groups, and ways to connect—designed to help you grow in your faith and find your place in this season of life. Each step is designed to guide you forward as you build relationships, strengthen your faith, and take meaningful next steps.

Welcome Breakfast
Start by meeting people and getting to know Turning Point in a relaxed, welcoming environment. It’s a simple way to connect and begin taking your next step.
Table Nights
Table Nights are intentional gatherings designed to help you connect relationally and experience the heart of our church in a more personal way. Pull up a chair for a shared meal, authentic connection, and meaningful conversation as you discover where you fit in the life of our church.
Rooted
Rooted is a guided small-group experience designed to help people grow spiritually while building relationships. Over several weeks participants explore faith, practice spiritual rhythms, and develop friendships that often continue long after the experience ends.
Axios Classes
Axios Classes are short learning environments offered several times each year. These classes explore practical topics related to Christian living, helping young adults understand Scripture more deeply while applying biblical wisdom to everyday decisions and relationships.
You can access the Connection Point to stay informed, submit prayer requests, and respond to what God is doing in your life. It’s designed to help you stay connected beyond Sunday.

Growing in Community

Faith grows best in relationships. Young adults build meaningful friendships through shared experiences, honest conversations, and encouragement from others who are pursuing Jesus while navigating similar seasons of life.

Men

Men gather regularly to build strong friendships, grow spiritually, and encourage one another through life’s challenges. Environments like Fight Club and Corner Man groups provide space for honest conversations, shared meals, and meaningful accountability as men pursue faith, leadership, and growth together.
