Job Title: Facility Director
FLSA Status: Part-Time, Exempt
Workdays/Hours: Maximum of 29 hours per week, Primarily Sunday, Wed-Friday.
Reports To: Director of Operations
MINISTRY PURPOSE:
The Facility Director for TPCC plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the physical facilities of the church to ensure they are safe, well-maintained, and conducive to the church's activities and mission. This role involves a combination of administrative, managerial, and practical responsibilities. The Director is also responsible for the efficient and effective management of all church facilities and properties. This role involves overseeing maintenance, security, and improvements to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for congregants and visitors.

Job Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:
- Schedule and supervise routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and landscaping.
- Coordinate and oversee larger maintenance and renovation projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes.
Security:

- Develop and implement security protocols to protect church property and ensure the safety of attendees.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras.
Budget Management:

- Create and manage the facility budget, track expenses, and ensur cost-effective solutions.
- Obtain quotes and bids for maintenance and repair services and negotiate contracts with vendors.
Event Support:

- Collaborate with church staff to plan and facilitate all-church events held at the church, ensuring that facilities meet event requirements.
- Arrange setups, teardowns, and equipment rentals for events.
Custodial Services:

- Supervise custodial staff or contractors responsible for cleaning and maintaining the church buildings.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
Safety and Compliance:

- Maintain a safe environment by regularly inspecting facilities for potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, permits, and regulations.
Inventory and Supplies:

- Manage inventory of supplies and equipment needed for facility maintenance and events.
- Order and replenish supplies as necessary.
Communication and Reporting:

- Provide regular updates to Director of Operations regarding facility maintenance and improvement needs.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, expenses, and contracts.

- Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in facilities management or a related field is a plus).
Experience: Previous experience in facilities management or a similar role.
Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of building maintenance, safety, and security practices.
Physical Requirements: Periods of time spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending and stooping. Mobility to move from one office area to another within the Church campus and to off-Campus locations. Some lifting may be required. Ability to reach above shoulders, to extend arms, and reach. Manual dexterity sufficient to type, operate general office equipment and to file. Specific visual acuities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
